Personally, I was blown away by the freshness and quality of the food at Nino's. The attention to detail in every dish, paired with excellent customer service, truly makes this Italian restaurant stand out. I highly recommend dressing up for a special night out and indulging in the delectable offerings at Nino's Cucina Italiana.
“ The entrees were amazing. Our fried calamari were all tentacles which was upsetting but it was still a great place to eat. ”
“ Highly recommend! So so so good! My daughter was touring ECU. We wanted Italian and it was recommended by Greely at the Marriott where we were staying. Not disappointed at all. Everyone loved their dinners. It was excellent! ”
“ Outstanding Italian restaurant. Arguably one of the best fine dining in eastern North Carolina. Our waiter was incredible and even complimented us with a free dessert because we had to wait a little bit for food. The outside vibe was beautiful and well decorated as well. The food was fresh and fairly priced. It lasted two meals so we had to take some home. It was a date night, so I highly recommend wearing nice attire. Highly recommend and will be back here again!! ”
“ This place was amazing! The service, the food, the atmosphere! Definitely recommend if you want an enjoyable and authentic Italian meal! ”
“ Olivia was the best server ever, shes so pretty too! The Alfredo was amazing!! I also recommend the fettuccine Alfredo Nino because my sister got it and it was fire!! The lighting was so cute and the chandeliers? omg!! The architecture on and in the building is amazing. The bathroom looked so fancy and everything was good quality! The food was so hot and delicious, only thing is the cheese is parmesan and it's not my favorite, but thats okay! They were fast with delivering the food. The drinks are very cold and refreshing. LOVE IT!!! ”
“ Nice spot for Italian food In Greenville Visiting from out of town and not knowing the area - and from driving around our location it seamed there were plenty of fast food options but we were looking for a more formal type restaurant. We found Nino's on Yelp and decided to make a reservation. Nino's has a slightly open concept with indoor and outdoor seating. Good place to go out on a date, family dinner or special occasions. Once entering we were immediately greeted by a number of smiling hostesses to check us in. The staff was polite, professional and friendly. We started with two appetizers, wine and a cocktail (whiskey Sour). Ordering up the Burrata Bruschetta along with Risotto Balls in a red sauce (special's menu). The Burrata Bruschetta was tasty with a nice presentation & the Risotto Balls in red sauce were excellent. Main Course First dish: Rigatoni alla Vodka - spot on flavor with a delicate and creamy sauce - delicious. Second dish: Orecchiette with Sausage - the sauce was bland - along with the broccoli steams unevenly cut/torn and there was barely any sausage (maybe 4 thin slices). I just felt while digging into the dish that it was thrown together - it was truly disappointing. Nino Cucina Italiana is nice place overall, when I come back in town I will give it another try but with some different choices. Cheers ”
“ Love the food and service at Nino's. They have the best calamari, and the chicken saltimbocca might be my new favorite! A nice balance of sweet and savory taste. Also don't skip dessert! I highly recommend the chocolate cannoli and limoncello cake. You won't be disappointed. The one negative would be that I wish they were open on Sundays. ”
“ There is a lot to say and you don't want to read a book, so I'll try to be concise-ish. I came here with my family for a nice dinner. Not being from here, I had my daughter choose a place, and she chose Nino's. Great choice, honestly. We had six people, and Blake was our waiter. What a pleasure it was. This place was hopping and all staff were busting it. Despite a supposed 1.5 hour wait, we were seated outside in about 20 minutes. It was a really nice and shady outdoor area, check the pictures! We did have a wine a beer while waiting though. I ordered the honey garlic shrimp app. Very tasty. I think without the sauce it would be bland. The sauce was very good and had a bit of heat to it. I also ordered a Moscow mule mocktail which was nice. Food: Table bread, foccacia. It was decent, but would have been better with either a touch of salt or olive oil for dipping. Rack of lamb: so so good. That meat, oh baby. Tender and tasty. Chicken piccata with veggies and a side of oven roasted potato slices and a side Caesar. The piccata was excellent, best I've had in a long time. The potatoes were decent. The Caesar was good, but the dressing didn't taste house made. Ravioli, the kids loved it. Great marinara. Chicken parmesan. Same marinara, quite good. Fettuccini Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce tasted house made and was delicious. Same with all of the pasta (Fettuccini, ravioli, chicken parm), all made in house. And lastly, though I didn't taste it, one of us had a smoked old fashioned which I was told was pretty good. So... In summary. Great food and top notch service. Very nice atmosphere. Best Italian food I've had in a while. This is a great place for a celebration, date night, anniversary, etc. ”
“ Update: 27 Mar2024 Return visit was great! Our waiter was new but was excellent! Based on his recommendations, we discovered a baked cheesecake with Nutella that was off the hook yummy. It was huge so definitely a shareable. Just beware to order it early since it takes time to prepare. We learned thru our waiter the meatballs are all beef! So can't wait to try that next time. Shout out to our waiter to lower the music as it was a tad loud in the restaurant once it starts filling up. We arrived wed 4:30p, finished by 5:45ish before the band arrived. For us that woukd have been too loud. The decibel app registered rose from quiet to moderate noise level as the hour progressed. The food was great! My blackened chicken choice made my mushroom ravioli a tad salty, so lesson learned. Can't wait to go back. ”
“ Chianti by the glass was average at best Bread was above average Octopus - great flavor and char but the toughest I've ever had Lasagna - GREAT! Cheesecake which isn't made in house GREAT SERVICE - 5 star. Atmosphere - Great. If I hadn't got the octopus or the wine or both woulda gave 5 stars. ”
